This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services offered by Flik Studio. ("Flik Studio", "we", "us", or "our"), including our mobile applications, web interfaces, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of our Service, and information from third-party sources. The categories of data we collect include:

• personAccount Information: Name, email address, password hash, profile photo, and subscription tier when you register for an account.
• imageUploaded Content: Images and media files you upload for AI processing. These are used solely to provide the transformation service you request. To generate results, your uploaded images, text prompts, and selected options (such as category, style, or ambience) may be securely transmitted to AI services for processing.
• analyticsUsage Data: Features used, session duration, in-app actions, error reports, and performance metrics collected automatically.
• devicesDevice Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, and browser type.
• paymentsPayment Information: Transaction details processed through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to deliver, maintain, and improve the Service. Specific purposes include:

Third-Party Services

We use Flikspace AI systems hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) to process user requests.

These providers process data solely to deliver requested functionality and are required to provide the same or equal level of data protection as described in this Privacy Policy.

AI Processing and Data Usage

When you use AI-powered features in our Service, your inputs (including uploaded images, text prompts, and selected options) are securely transmitted only after obtaining your consent to Flikspace AI systems hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) for processing in order to generate the requested results.

These AI services act as service providers and process data solely for the purpose of delivering the requested functionality. We require these providers to maintain appropriate security and data protection standards.

This data is transmitted to these third-party cloud providers solely to generate the requested results and is not used for any other purpose.

We do not use your data for unrelated purposes and do not sell your personal data.

User Consent and Control

We obtain user consent before processing data through AI features.

Users may choose not to use AI features at any time.

Users can also delete their account to remove associated personal data.

AI & Your Images

Your uploaded images are processed by our AI systems to generate the transformations you request. We take the following specific commitments regarding your image data:

• shieldImages are processed in encrypted, isolated environments and are never made accessible to other users.
• shieldWe do not use your uploaded images to train AI models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
• shieldUploaded originals are automatically deleted from our servers within 90 days unless you have saved them to your account gallery.
• shieldGenerated output images are stored in your account and can be deleted by you at any time.

Face Data and Biometric Information

Our Service does not collect, store, or process biometric identifiers such as facial recognition data, facial geometry, or faceprints.

Users may upload images that include human faces as part of normal use of the Service. These images are processed solely to provide the requested AI-based image generation features..

We do not perform identity recognition, face tracking, or user identification based on facial features.

Images (including those containing faces) are processed securely and are not used for profiling, advertising, or any purpose other than delivering the requested functionality.

Face-containing images are treated the same as other uploaded content and are retained and deleted in accordance with the Data Retention section of this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (such as billing records, which are retained for 7 years per financial regulations).

Uploaded source images: deleted within 90 days of upload or upon account closure. Generated output images: retained until you delete them or close your account. Log data: aggregated and anonymized after 12 months.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, access controls and audit logging, and regular third-party security assessments. While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Categories include essential cookies (required for the Service to function), analytics cookies (to understand usage patterns), and preference cookies (to remember your settings). You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or our in-app cookie manager. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.
